Set within the hallowed halls of an ancient castle in Northern England, or a fairytale escape on the borders of the Mohican Forest, attendees are immediately transported to a world of fantasy and history. The Castle's architecture, grandeur, and surroundings amplify the D&D experience, making every moment feel like a step through a portal to a world, steeped in mystique and lore.
Over 24 Hours of D&D with Renowned DMs
More than just a mere game night, this event offers attendees over 24 hours of engaging D&D gameplay in a single campaign over the 4 days of the event. And the cherry on top? The campaigns are guided by some of the world's most skilled and imaginative Dungeon Masters. Their expertise promises intricate storylines, unexpected twists, and an overall unforgettable role-playing journey.
Beyond Gameplay
While the main attraction is the extended D&D sessions, the event offers much more. Attendees can explore side games, participate in thematic events, and acquire exclusive "D&D in a Castle" merchandise. These extras not only serve as a break from the main Campaign but also as tokens to remember the magical time spent at the castle.

What to expect
From your grand arrival to immersive gaming sessions and enchanting castle activities, discover the magic of each day at D&D in a Castle. Here's a detailed journey into what your adventure will entail.

The courtesy shuttle will drop off its riders at the Castle’s magnificent front steps where all of the celebrity DMs will ceremoniously gather up their tables to be taken into the Castle. Your tagged bags will be whisked away to your room so that you can get started right away without any encumbrance. Enjoy refreshments as you finally get to discover what it will be like to begin the campaign you’ve been waiting for!

Arrival Day is filled with festivities, including a banquet and ball! We understand you may want a bit of time to settle and rest before the big night. After you the Prologue / “You Meet In a Tavern..” , you will be guided to your room where your luggage will be waiting. You will have about 2 hours to settle in and get ready for an amazing night.

Our Baldurian Banquet is an evening filled with traditional dances, a formal dinner, quests and intrigue and other D&D related festivities and entertainment. Each Banquet is completely different as the events are crafted by the Dungeon Masters themselves. Formal attire or costume is encouraged and celebrated, but not required.

The Gaming Days are broken up into 3 gaming blocks that are each 4 hours long. You will spend two of these blocks gaming with your D&D campaign (the same players and DM for all 3 days) and your third gaming block you may spend as you wish—unless you are in Hardcore Mode! Hardcore Mode players will be gaming in all gaming blocks.

Roam the castle grounds, enjoy high tea, challenge yourself in the Castle's escape room, play some board games or paint minis in the gaming cafe or join a one-shot game or a session of archery. There is always plenty on offer. Free Time Activities vary by Castle and by Round.
